Tony Yelden

Tony earned his BS, in Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa in 1998. In 2004 his PTA from Arapahoe CC in Colorado. Tony is a clinical instructor for multiple colleges for Athletic Training and PTA programs. He is a Strength Training Specialist, SFMA Level 1 certified, with SFMA level 2 concepts, and a level 4 USA Hockey coach.

After graduating from the University of Iowa Tony worked in the outpatient setting delivering treatment, and with Cedar Rapids Washington High School athletics providing care for their student athletes. He was an instructor for Kirkwood CC teaching their Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries class. During his career Tony has treated a vast array of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.

Today Tony’s focus is on rehabilitation delivery, return to sports, and performance enhancement. He enjoys a focus on the athletic population from the weekend warriors to the collegiate athletes. Tony has an extensive background with returning hockey players to the ice after injury and surgery.
