I've been a PT for 30+ years and I truly look forward to coming to work each day. I've spent my entire career in the Cedar Rapids area, with the majority in the outpatient environment. I take great pride in listening to individuals, helping to define what challenges are present and then crafting a program to enable those who walk through our doors each day to reach maximal function. Each person comes to us with a unique set of skills, abilities and goals, and it's my job to find a way to help attain those. Nothing is more rewarding than watching someone discover what they "can do" as opposed to what they cannot.
I am fortunate to be working with a talented group of professionals whom I can learn from, who will help me to be the best version of myself on a daily basis.
My favorite quote is by Mother Teresa, and is one I try to implement: "Let no one come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness: kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile".
In my free time I love to be outdoors, particularly in Iowa summers. I enjoy reading, bicycling, walking and hanging out with our dog Molly. My husband Eric and I have 3 adult children, a daughter Maria and twin sons, Michael and Sean, who are a lot of fun to be around. I’ve been blessed at an early age to have found a career that interests me, allows me to learn something new every day, and that I've been successful in.
