Lauren Saehler

Lauren Saehler

Lauren received her undergraduate in Health & Human Physiology and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa.

During her career, Lauren has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patient populations including: women’s health, orthopedics, and neurological. She has developed a passion for working with women’s pelvic health and working with people with Parkinson’s Disease.

In addition to women’s pelvic health, and working with people with Parkinson’s Disease, Lauren also enjoys the challenges of everyday mishaps and overuse injuries. My philosophy is grounded in the belief that every individual is unique and deserving of an approach that aligns with their individual goals and needs. Lauren believes injuries recover best when all systems are working properly. Our lifestyle helps create a healthy or unhealthy environment and taking inventory on stress, sleep, nutrition, relationships, substance use, and physical activity keeps us on track. At times, physical therapy may include collaboration with other professionals in order to achieve the best outcome by building on each other’s strengths.

Lauren enjoys running, biking, lifting, and being outdoors with her dogs. She also enjoys volunteering and building connections with her community.

Degree: DPT, University of Iowa

Certifications: Astym, Graston I & II, SFMA I & II, LSVT BIG, BIG for Life, Pelvic Health I & II
