David graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion /Exercise Science. He then completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University with a focus in manual therapy.

David's specialties include manual therapy, sports medicine and performance, orthopedic injuries and spine mechanics. He has furthered his education and knowledge base by learning from some of the most respected professionals in the field of physical therapy. He has special interest in treating and working with athletes. He has had the opportunity to work with athletes at all levels from youth to professional.

David views each physical therapy visit as a unique opportunity to spend time with his patients in order to accomplish meaningful goals. He believes in using a variety of techniques including manual therapy, patient education, and strength training. He feels that proper progressing of treatment can provide positive and long lasting results.

In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He enjoys attending sporting events, playing softball, golfing, basketball, racquetball and loves experiencing the outdoors through hiking, fishing and playing with his children. He enjoys volunteering in the community through coaching and participating in local community events.
